Paris – the city of love. And the City of Culinary. Admittedly, not all specialties are our cup of tea. For example, we can do without snails. And in general, unfortunately, the vegetarian selection in many traditional restaurants in Paris still leaves a lot to be desired.
But we can’t complain at all. We have in Paris ate exceptionally well and discovered really great cafes and restaurants. Of course, we would like to introduce you to our favorites in this food guide.

1. Hippe Restaurants in Paris

One of our favorite culinary discoveries in Paris is this amazing restaurant, which is part of the hotel of the same name. Here await you Boho-Vibes in perfection. The flair reminded us a lot of Mexico.
is served creative, exclusively plant-based cuisine and at a very high level. Unfortunately, the price level is also rather high (with quite small portions). We can therefore particularly recommend a visit at lunchtime. Then there is a lunch menu for about 22 euros.

Pink Mom
The biggest hype, imaginable, this Italian restaurant in Paris experiences. It’s part of a group of restaurants, with Pink Mamma being the most photogenic and arguably the most popular.
Surprisingly, not only does the restaurant look amazing (Instagram-Hotspot sends regards), but you also eat really well here. Be on the menu italian classics (Pasta, pizza, etc.), some of which have been given a modern interpretation. All in all, you can tell that they are trying to process guests quickly.

The restaurant extends over several floors and is so well frequented that reservations are often necessary days or weeks in advance. You can also try your luck without a reservation, but we would definitely not recommend it.

2. Eat well and fast in Paris
Bioburger
We ended up at Bioburger looking for a quick dinner before our evening visit of the Tour Montparnasse. This is one burger chain, which is represented in Paris with several restaurants.
If you want to eat cheap, fast and well in Paris, this is the place for you. The burgers are really good, as are the fries. All ingredients come from organic farming. And: There are also several vegetarian burgers.

Wild & The Moon
looking for one healthy lunch? Then we can highly recommend Wild & The Moon. Here, especially those who are vegan feed, feel very good.
The menu features exclusively plant-based dishes, including bowls (both smoothie bowls and salads), daily specials and burgers. There are several restaurants this chain in Paris. After our visit to the Louvre, we went to the restaurant near the Place Vendôme.

3. Breakfast & Brunch in Paris
The Hardware Company Paris
This is a very popular breakfast or brunch spot in Paris Australian inspired cafe in Montmartre. If you’re looking for French flair, you’ve come to the wrong place. It’s international here.
Be on the menu hip, creative breakfast or brunch dishes, including burrata or fried brioche. Everything looks delicious, is well prepared and – most importantly – it tasted excellent to us.
The only downside: the café is very popular and takes no reservations at. So you have to hope for a bit of luck. Unfortunately, you sometimes sit very tight inside. Nonetheless: Highly recommended.

Zia Paris Cafe
We also had a very good breakfast in the Zia Café. The flair is right modern and young and also somewhat internationally inspired. Our choice fell on the avocado toast, which was really excellent. The coffee was also very good.
Unfortunately, reservations are not possible, so you have to hope for luck. There are some places both inside and outside small pavement.

4. Special cafes & patisseries
Flora Coffee
an absolute Institution in Paris is the historic Café de Flore. It is considered one of the oldest cafes in Paris. Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir and Picasso have all stayed here.
Here awaits you French flair straight out of a picture book: a pretty awning, photogenic lettering and the green exterior is a real eye-catcher. In terms of price, however, you have to dig deep into your pocket: an espresso costs around 5 euros.
Unfortunately, reservations are not possible. Who one of popular outdoor spaces If you want to get hold of one from which you can watch people passing by, you have to hope for luck.

Boris Lumé Café Pastry
We happened across this one quite by accident Hippe Pastry Stumbled upon in Montmartre and couldn’t walk by without trying one of the delicacies.
The eclairs, tarts and cakes don’t just look like works of art out, they taste fantastic too. We had them pistachio tart, which was just incredibly delicious. Great recommendation. The coffee here is also really good. Unfortunately there are only a handful of small tables, but it’s well worth a stop.

5. The best macarons in Paris
The question of all questions: where are the best macarons in Paris? The Baisergebäck with its special, slightly sticky consistency, it is a French specialty and can be found all over Paris.
The duration
The chain of confectioners delights tourists The duration greatest popularity. You will find numerous locations throughout Paris. (You can even buy last minute macarons at Charles de Gaulle Airport.)
The stores of The duration are all incredibly photogenic and generally very inviting, with a classic French design. The selection of macarons is pretty overwhelming. We personally thought the macarons were very good, but – spoilers – not the best in Paris.
Pierre Hermé
Another little bit better than the macarons from Ladurée we liked those from Pierre Hermé. Pierre Hermé is also represented with numerous locations in Paris and here too the selection is gigantic.
