This one needs quick action! Really fast action, because the tickets are selling out like hot cakes (actually much faster!). Fly to New Orleans if you too are in love with the word “jazz” because there are biggies who are crashing to this party. Mind you, you’ve got Bruce Springsteen, Irma Thomas, Christina Aguilera, Solange, Alejandro Escovedo and many more of your favorites to keep you company here. New Orleans Jazz and Music Fest starts April 25,2014 and ends on May 4, 2014 Queen’s Kings ‘Day, Holland

When Queen’s Day was recently recognized as King’s Day, enthusiasm for the celebrations has risen. So, while everyone at Holland turns orange or amberr, join the fun and revelry in the many Bylanes. The happy parades and sailing rounds often leave one with a hangover the next morning! So be careful if you turn orange. Happy Queen’s… err.. King’s Day. Happy Holland. King’s Day starts on April 27 (and unfortunately ends that same day, because it’s a “day”). So while I’m off to get another list of reasons to travel in May, you can start packing. If you find another event, festival or other reason to get out and travel in April, leave a comment below.
